Inviting Rural Families affected by Drought

Rotary Clubs of South Australia

Invite YOU and Your Family to a FREE day of fun!

Drought gripped South Australia for 3 Years and we know the effects are not over. Our fields might be green, but we know our rural communities are yet to replenish their bank accounts.

Throughout 2025, Rotary's team delivered hay to help feed livestock. We saw first hand the devastation families were enduring and we recognise some time, families (including local township shop owners) just need to leave the hardships of life behind for a day, to remember what it's like to smile, laugh, dance, get a belly full of food and just have fun.

If you are one of these families, Rotary is offering an opportunity to have a fun day with no strings attached.

It will be a day to smile again. Forget about farm life, if only for a few hours. Give kids a reason to laugh. Relax. Enjoy. Go home with some goodies and full bellies.

Pioneer Adventure Day (2) is a community event run by Rotary Clubs in South Australia.

We’d love you to tell other families about this event. Come with friends from your Neighbouring farms, if you like. Help us spread the word.

We're offering the first 600 families who register to attend, free admission to Old Tailem Town (normally $28/adult) for this special day of:

• FREE entertainment (bands / music and more … including for the kids)
• FREE food
• FREE haircuts (mens and ladies)
• GIVEAWAYS & Groceries (we know some families are really struggling to survive)
• FREE health checks (skin checks; heart health checks; AND BreastScreen SA onsite for the ladies)

Keep an eye on our Website’s Participants and On The Day sections as it is being regularly updated as more entertainment options and service providers participants come on board.

This is Rotary's genuine way to bring SA's rural communities together.

We'd really love to see you there.
