You can Sponsor a Family and give HOPE

2025 was the 3rd year of South Australia's drought. Rotary's team visited more than 350 farms in 2025, delivering on average 10 tonne of quality, nutritious fodder to each of them to keep their livestock alive and healthy.

We know of five farmers we saved from suicide – they told us. We could not have achieved all of this without the support of  wonderful community-minded people like You!

But the spirits of so many of farming families are broken. Some continue to survive on only one meal per day!

Pioneer Adventure Day will offer thems a day off the farm (or out of the local town hardware / butcher / baker / supermarket etc) to simply enjoy! To forget the stresses of life for a while. To give the kids back their smiles! With sufficient sponsorships, we will be able to give hundreds of regional families FREE entry to our event in Old Tailem Town; Entertain them; Feed them; offer them a Haircut; and even Health Checks.

Each Family sponsorship will include:-
• offering around $70 of fuel to get the family’s car to the event & back home (assuming the fuel crisis is over)
• free entry to Old Tailem Town (normally $28 per person)
• food vouchers … fill their bellies!
• free entertainment
• maybe a haircut 😊
• FREE Health checks!
