Planning is underway for their 2026 event now to be held between Saturday 1st to Saturday 8th August 2026, this year likely traveling through the Flinders Ranges region.

As an example, in 2024, nine Corollas and seven support vehicles with 31 participants headed off on 20 July 2024 to Oodnadatta.

The route included the Flinders Ranges, Roxby Downs, Woomera and Andamooka with a return via Coober Pedy. Great fun was again had with the mighty little cars tested on a variety of tracks especially as there had been heavy rain in the weeks before they set off. Nevertheless, a great  ‘Khana’ was held on a dry mud pan near Oodnadatta.

A highlight of that trip was meeting with members of the Rotary Club of Roxby District.

The event's traditional ‘Themed’ night and Auction was held at the Greek Club in Coober Pedy.

Most importantly, the funds raised that year enabled Rotary Regency Park to provide community support funding of $20,500 towards : New Hope Cambodia ($6,000); the Dreamin’ Foundation ($6,000); Blue Tree Project Roxby Downs ($6,000); and Books for Bush Kids ($2,500).
