Care Packs

Sometimes, we all just need to feel good about ourselves.

We've a number of wonderful Murraylands locals keen to help us put together pamper care packs to give away at Pioneer Adventure Day on 3rd May 2026.

You'll see in the photos, two lovely local ladies, Meg and Jan. Between them, they are sewing 1,000 ... yes 1,000 ... quality care pack bags for our team to fill and give away to rural families doing it really tough. Each bag a keepsake in itself.

Can you imagine the time they're investing - not to mention the materials they're sourcing to make this happen. It's mind blowing.

ROTARY sends an enormous "Thank You" to Meg and Jan.

Then, there are beautiful people like Tina and Danny Squires who own Old Tailem Town who have themselves, personally, been buying and gathering hundreds of items to fill these bags. 

Assisted by others also in the community (including members of the Rotary Club of Murray Bridge) - their team (lead by Tina) are preparing giveaway bags for Women, Men and Kids. Have a look at the photos on this page to see just some of the items going inside.

Filling 1,000 bags with little rays of hope takes as much time and effort as Meg and Jan's efforts.

Any products you can personally donate to help fill these bags will be greatly appreciated. Sometimes even the smallest of items, such as hair scrunchies, bottles of nail polish or sunscreen, can make lifetime memory.

Other items of daily need that will suit these bags include small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, hygiene products, razors and shaving cream, combs, hair brushes, hair clips, toothpast, toothbrushes, dental floss and deodorants. Beyond this, feel free to get creative.
