To further help rural families deal with the tough conditions and cost-of-living pressures, South Australian Rotary Clubs and a wide range of other organisational, corporate and individual donors have supported our grocery collection drive.
Sponsored families will have the opportunity to choose from a wide variety of products to create grocery hampers to take home at the end of the day.
Items available for the hampers will include:
• Cleaning - multipurpose surface cleaners, washing powder etc
• Personal Hygiene - body wash, deodorant; shampoo, toothpaste, sanitary items etc
• Bathroom - toilet paper etc
• Kitchen - eg dishwashing liquid, rubbish bags; paper towel, Glad wrap etc
• Pantry - eg noodles; soups; canned tuna; pasta; canned vegetables; ready-made meals; sauces
• Breakfast - muesli, other cereal, pancake mix, Vegemite, peanut paste etc
• Lunchboxes - yoghurt bars, top-top fruit drinks and more
Along the Yellow Brick Road, families will find baked goods, fruits and vegetables as well as giveaways including beanies, stubby holders and drink coasters.
Our grateful thanks go to every Rotary D9510 and Inner Wheel Club D-A70, corporate or individual sponsor, local growers and community organisations for their generous support of this element of the Rotary Pioneer Adventure Day.
