NON-Perishable Grocery Appeal

We know there are a number of families in our Rural Communities really struggling to survive.

Between now and Sunday 3 May, we are asking anyone able to donate some Non-Perishable Groceries to help Rotary stock up the Old Tailem Town Grocery Store.

On the day, families in need will be offered an opportunity to take home with them some care packs of groceries they need most.

Groceries so often most in need:-

• Laundry items - eg washing powder etc
• Personal Hygiene items - eg deoderant; sanitary items etc
• Bathroom products - eg shampoo; body wash; toothpaste; toilet paper etc
• Kitchen items - eg dishwashing liquid and sponges; rubbish bags; paper towel etc
• Food Items - eg noodles; soups; spaghetti; rice; pasta; tinned vegetables; preserved fruits; flavour sauces; cereal etc etc

If you have an oversupply of items in your own pantry, if they're "in date" but surplus to need, please donate them.

Or perhaps each week when you do your household shop, you could add an extra product or two to your trolley. Supermarkets always have specials, so just pick up items that are "out cheap" to stretch your donation further.
